Coaching career
Tiago embarked on his career with the Brooklyn Nets, serving in a hybrid role that involved splitting his time between front office duties and aiding with on-court player development. As he moved into his second year with the team, he was presented with the opportunity to fully devote himself to player development, assisting various players in refining their skills and enhancing their performance.
In his most recent two years with the Nets, Tiago ascended to the role of assistant coach, contributing significantly to the team's deep playoff run. His tenure in Brooklyn has been enriched by the opportunity to work alongside an esteemed roster of coaches, including Kenny Atkinson, Ime Udoka, Mike D'Antoni, Steve Nash, Adam Harrington, Bret Brielmeyer, Royal Ivey, David Vanterpool, Jordan Ott, among others.

In addition to his work with the Nets, Tiago helmed the U23 Brazil National Team as their coach during the summer of 2022. Under his guidance, the team clinched a gold medal, culminating in a thrilling victory over the USA in the final match.
